Waterproofing
Waterproofing is an unavoidable step in any civil construction to have a trouble free, comfortable and hygienic living. It also enhances the durability, aesthetics and stops fire accidents occurring from electric short circuiting due to leakage.

Expansion Joints
Expansion Joints are provided in concrete buildings to nullify the effect of thermal induced expansion and contraction.
The necessary materials for expansion joints are – Joint Filler Board, Joint Sealants and a Separation layer enabling joint sealant to move freely.

Concrete Repairs
Concrete repair is the process of fixing a hardened concrete showing damages due to environmental attacks and causes like construction defects and improper materials the repair steps include finding out the root cause, extent of damage, choosing repair techniques, proper materials, and application process.
The common products offered by Altra are cementitious non shrinkage micro concrete, plugging compound, bonding agent based on epoxy and polymer bonding agent between old and new concrete or mortar respectively. Factory made or in situ polymer mortar with various ingredients including polymers like SBR or Acrylic compounds and fibres. Topcoat of anti-carbonation or acrylic coating with high elongation and aesthetics is also essential and available with Altra.
Protective Coatings
As per NACE study in 2013 the estimated global cost of corrosion is US$ 2.5 Trillion, which is 3.4 % of the global GDP. Estimated amount of US$ 600 Billion may be saved by using available corrosion control practices.
The usual coatings are based on epoxy, phenolic, polyurethane, novolac epoxy, MIO, zinc rich epoxy, zinc chromate, zinc phosphate primer and coaltar epoxy or combination of some of it.

Industrial Floorings
Floor coatings are protective layers commonly used for industrial and commercial flooring where heavy surface wear is expected. Floor also becomes leak proof and hygienic as required for food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. Antistatic floor coatings are mandatory for operation theatre, Hospitals, electronic assembly shop and sophisticated testing laboratories. Also, floor coatings are becoming popular for car parking areas and indoor and outdoor sports coating.
Epoxy and Polyurethane based floor coatings products are most common in different thicknesses usually 2 ,3 or 4 mm and sometimes with a base coat of self- levelling screed.
Non-metallic and Metallic floor hardener products are also used for industrial floors and warehouses to improve impact and abrasion resistance. Altra Construction can offer all above floor coating system for supply and application.
